Icom IC-7100 Packet Configuration
These settings support packet operation on the Icom IC-7100 using its internal
sound card or an external sound card such as the SignaLink USB Sound Card.
Radio Settings

USB Audio SQL: OFF (OPEN)
ACC/USB Output Select: AF
ACC/USB AF Level: 30% (between 30% and 50%)
ACC/USB IF Level: 50%
ACC MOD Level: 50%
DATA MOD Level: 50% (between 30% and 50%)
USB MOD Level: 50% (adjust for minimum ALC)
DATA OFF MOD: MIC, ACC
DATA MOD: USB
CI-V =>
CI-V Baud Rate: 19200
CI-V Address: 88h
CI-V Transceive: ON
CI-V Output (for ANT): OFF
USB2/DATA1 Function => Default (no changes necessary)
VSEND Select: VHF/UHF
9600 bps Mode: OFF
SoundModem Settings
Under Settings | Devices set the Output and Input devices to USB Audio CODEC.
Set the PTT port to CAT.
(If using an external SignaLink USB Sound Card, set the PTT Port to NONE.)

Select Advanced PTT settings to configure the CAT settings.
To determine the correct COM port, look under Ports in the
Windows Device Manager. There will likely be two Silicon Labs
ports. Select the A port. The Device instance path of the A
port ends with _A.

The entries under Settings | Modems do not depend on which
sound card is used.

Winlink Settings
The settings for a Packet Winlink or Packet P2P session do not depend
on which sound card is used.
